SKYLED 2000W Modified Sine Wave Power Inverter with USB DC 12V → AC 220–240V
The inverter is designed to power electrical and electronic devices requiring 230V AC voltage from batteries and 12V DC automotive electrical systems.
SKYLED inverters are made from the highest-quality materials. They feature a modern design and simple, intuitive operation.
The inverter produces a so-called modified sine wave at the output. This is an AC voltage with a square-wave form whose RMS value is identical to the RMS value of the sinusoidal waveform found in the standard power grid.
Thanks to this voltage generation method, it is possible to significantly reduce the price and increase the overall reliability of the device.
The inverter works perfectly with electronic and electrical devices of a resistive nature, such as:
-
heaters
-
light bulbs
-
power supplies
-
household appliances (toaster, sandwich maker, shaver)
-
etc.

Quick Guide:
If you want to connect inductive devices (e.g. a central heating pump motor, a refrigerator with a compressor) or capacitive devices, you should choose a pure sine wave inverter.
If you want to connect resistive devices (e.g. a heater, light bulbs), you can safely choose a standard modified sine wave inverter.
Suitable Applications for a Modified Sine Wave Inverter:
-
Consumer electronics (TVs, receivers, Hi-Fi systems, DVD players)
-
Office equipment (printers, fax machines, computers, monitors)
-
Household appliances (toaster, sandwich maker, shaver)
-
Lighting (LED, halogen, garden lamps, light bulbs)
Devices That May Cause Issues:
-
Some TVs – appearance of lines or interference on the screen
-
Laptops, computers – if the power supply does not have active PFC, buzzing noise or overheating may occur
-
Devices with commutator motors, some power tools – problems with speed control may occur
Must Not Be Used With:
-
Devices using induction motors (e.g. refrigerators, pumps, air conditioners). For such devices, pure sine wave inverters must be used.
-
Capacitive charging devices (e.g. smartphones, tablets). For such devices, pure sine wave inverters must be used.
